I was somewhat taken aback at this being classified as a love poem but it does seem that way after reading it and don't see why you can't write a love poem for your country. It is different but yet the same as if the poem was written for a person you love. Well done. |

Paul this is indeed a lovely read :) |
God bless you brother. I like your ebullient spirit that's proud to be 'African'. I so much love the idea of using nature and affection as a platform to convey your thoughts. Smooth flow and lovely use of wordings. Proud to be 'African', that's the spirit. Stay blessed. |

I really admire this poem. When I started reading this piece, at first I was inspired by his love for Africa and felt like it should have been placed in life poems, and as I continued reading, I was applauding his decision to place it in the love poem section. |

Paul. I love the way you wrote this...a love poem to your country. It shines beautifully :) |

This is a beautiful tribute to a continent that is both paradise and hell....I hope one day all people in your country will have conquered the hardships and live in peace and prosperity. |

Ahh, the "Malaria Belt," an endless source of suffering and famine. The one thing that never runs dry in Africa is the longing. |

So your from Africa, thats pretty cool. I can tell that world means a lot to you, and so does mother nature and everything that represents her. I think it cool that you write love poems to her. |
