Caress of Loneliness

by Miyaki Zhen   Mar 7, 2012

The cold breeze starts to linger on my skin
While my mind wonder, where have you been
Sitting alone here, embracing myself
Have no one beside me to offer a help

Whenever I remember all the things you said
Those sweet nothings that pinned my head
I can't stop the tear to flow from my eye
For now I know, it was just a lie

I have prepared myself to be yours
I said I would give a try in this course
And shower you all the things I have kept
Giving you more, though I have nothing left

I waited for you day per day
Trying to read your chosen way
On how would you win my ready heart
But it didn't come, pain on my part

Now I don't know where you are dear
Your sweet words still I could hear
I long for you, how I miss you so bad
But loneliness here, this is so sad

Now you're not making a way to catch me
'Cause my hoping heart has already fallen for thee
Sitting alone here, still waiting for you
While shivering in the caress of the evening dew

It is sad, but I very much can relate to it
