The way I feel

Everytime I believe in love,
Reality kicks in
Everytime I believe I have found the one,
Its only just a dream

I gave it my all,
But I'm just not good enough
Cause if I am,
Why throw me away like this

They say love hurts,
I didn't know
It's suppose to feel
Like this

Everytime he yells
I feel worthless
Everytime he throws me out,
I'm broken

But..

when he makes me laugh
I feel happy
When he kisses me
I'm on fire

when/if we make up,
I feel whole again,
And when I wake up next to him,
I feel loved

    This piece shows multiple sides of this supposed love crap. I mean most of us have heard love hurts yet we give it a shot. Most don't make it out alive at first, but that's what makes it such an adventure. Well there is the base of the thoughts this piece provoked.

    On to the piece itself: The emotion is understandable, but its not shown very strongly. The style was simple, the word choice was a bit bland, and the flow was okay. I was glad that your voice was loud and clear, and I appreciate that you spoke your mind. I think that this piece was a so-so piece. Thanks for the write.

    4/5 because it was just a bit too ordinary.
