Logic of Beautiful~Senryu Chain

by Poet on the Piano   Mar 10, 2012

In his hazel eyes
her resonance shows within,
a brave-blind color.

Worth is not logic;
as our thoughts and thesis's
are not always bound.

What has and what will
is not his one potential,
we are who we choose.

Like a sinking mind,
he must not deluge in wit
to save who he's chanced.

In his untouched eyes
her surface is now escaped,
and he perceives grace.

To me this is about forgetting the past, Maybe it's about a couple, he can't get over his previous lovers, his mind is turned to mud, or is he struggling to forget her previous boyfriends?
Or have I missed the point?
I like the imagery of 'untouched eyes'
    Short but nicely written
There is not much more I can say.
    Apart from 'no nits!'
    Regards
