Gosh the images are so vivid and in depth in description. I could never imagine what it would be like at war, I don't think I could emotionally handle it.

I think you have described the pain so well and the rhyming was awesome.

This poem brings more to the table than a rhyme scheme. You have laid out the visuals of what every combative soldier must go through at one time or another, most often after their return home from the war. The battles will rage in their mind and they will feel the sting of wars rememberance for a lifetime. Very well done dear. Brings a tear to the eye knowing this is more truth than fiction of what service men think.
