Giving up

I sat beside my best friend
Staring and smiling on her
She asked me why?
I said nothing
Don't fool me she said
I look at her again telling I'm not
Then she hugged me so tight
Whispering
"Give up the fight"

I smiled at her
Telling her its alright
I saw concern and love in her eyes
I hugged her tight
whispering
"I already did"
