Heart flu

by Muran   Mar 13, 2012

Finally you beat me, the flu,
And the needles found flesh to dig in,
It has been more than a year,
I have never been to hospital,
But it is not the flu of my body,
It is the flu of my heart,
May be I couldn't hide this anymore,
Your memories devastated my health,
Heavy dose of tabs collapsed me,
But I am a warrior, back on my office table,
I can't rest, I must write my poems,
In the early mornings, as usual,
You can beat my body, not my heart.

I guess it's an original idea, you're going through... love flu! I like how you incorporated 'office work' as a way of forgetting the flu... and pursuing your career normally, as if nothing happened, but the truth is that the love virus is killing you. Amazing work.
