Covered in tiny wires,
Bravely holding on,
1 day old and yet,
Your proving your so strong.

6 more weeks you should be inside,
Safely in my womb,
But mummy was so poorly,
So you had to come too soon.

The doctors will make you better,
One day you'll be home,
Until then we wont leave your side,
You'll never be alone.

We love you so much Thomas,
Mummy and Daddy are here,
No matter how long it takes,
We'll always be there.

Please get better honey,
Then we can be together,
At home where you should be,
Where we'll have to leave you never.
