Owners of Humanity

by Mason Robb   Mar 15, 2012

Give me no more lies and bullshit.
No more blood-stained flags,
to wave under your state of affairs,
or enslavement to your vocalised chains

Spirituality looks at men through equal lens.
But you destroy and pillage for personal advance.
For this i cannot look at you as equal.
You have no rights, you cast them to sea.
You are a liar, a thief; a world-class villain..
consumed by your lustful dance with the devil.

You own the banks, the senate, the church.
our food, our water, even our dirt.
We are the weak; in the palm of your hand.
Yet you dare to pity us in our crippled state
Ha! I pity you and your duel with fate.

God, My Love, I have blasphemed to you.
But this is no equal who tells us what do.
Slander of your name in church and on tv,
Isn't it time we set eachother free?

The promises you make as our cages are made,
Shall make us rise up and fight
Our torches of anger shall join together
Into a spectacle of human might

Overlords of this earth, you'd better prepare.
No policy can starve humanity of it's right to be free!
You will be more tyrants in the history books.
I conceed to your skill, covert and indirect.
However good shall always conquer evil.

Wow your poem really is very well thought out. There is so much truth in every word. I wish more people could see the world this way. In any case I love this poem...:)
