Poetry is a song, a gentle heartbeat.
A stroll in summer along the beach.
A holding of hands, a beautiful view.
Wakening up to a day that is brand new.

Poetry enlightens, sets us free.
To be who we really want to be...
Takes us on voyages near or far.
Let's us gaze at the moon, catch that falling star.

That's why I love this place, because free as a bird,
I can come to express and be heard.
Knowing a unison with other poets who write,
Poems and Quotes it is a wonderful site!
