The Inevitable

by Joseph Boadi   Mar 18, 2012

Death is a fearful thing
Dangling on our fingers like a wedding ring
But expectation is the root of all headache
Just knowing man has an expiring date
Farewell,fair cruelty
Many material gains all vanity
For my part life is but greek to me
Just enough to make me want to flee
But where would i go
When death and life are contructed that i know
But he that is giddy thinks the world turns round
Where can i go if me and death are simply bound

I really like the flow of this poem.
It's true that death is inevitable. Not even the richest/most powerful person can escape death.
All in all a great poem :)
