I poured so much
audacity into my
cup, some
escaped it,
falling into my lap
with the weight
of a million feathers

felt, deeply,
suddenly.

I write to tell
you that

you'll always
be welcome to
watch sunsets
on my shores

but,
don't you ever
dare to enter
my waters again.
