Wha... I like this! So simple and has a nice flow. I like the title, it must be representing something between you two, I like to use the word 'coffee' in poetry, I always use it, it spells smooth. I like how it has that 'cute' rhythm to it. So many times I want to write such poems and I can't, so you did a great job, here.

'But you continue to drink my potion
staying devoted to your promise,
granting me,

another precious day....'

This ending is so overwhelming, when someone devotes their life, time, heart and mind to you, you can do nothing but do the same. It's just so pure. I would only drop that comma after 'grant me'. Drink my potion image drew me away. Wow. Totally enjoyable, sweetie. Like, like!

I love this stanza,

"Your coffee cup
Is filled to the brim
with peace, hope,
and the love I have for you."

It's so beautiful. Hehe I'm picturing heart shapes in the coffee cup.

I also like how you incorporate a coffee cup into this poem, it's unexpected and a nice touch... I also think it was a good choice since many people are addicted to coffee and drink it everyday, so this person could be like your coffee, someone you need daily to keep going.

I love the underlying darkness to it too, it wasn't just a perfect love poem... it made it more mysterious

The idea that the coffee cup is filled makes me think of seeing the glass half empty or half full. That positive way of thinking.
