You obviously don't want me in your life
And however much that hurts
There is nothing I can do to change that
But the worst part is, you say you care
Yet your actions say otherwise
If you can't even find 5 minutes
To talk about this situation
And I know I'm not the only one
That requires your attention
But it would be nice for a change
If you could make some time for me
This all sounds really selfish, and it is
But continuing down this road
Might hurt me more than I can handle
Maybe we're just not meant to be friends
Because of the way I feel about you
But no matter how much I love you
I'm not going to let myself get hurt
Because you pretend to care
You might not mean to hurt me
But you pretending to care out of pity
Is way worse than if you had just shot me down
So unless you have no-one else to turn to
Just leave me be
