I want a life

Held here tightly with a leash for a rope
Slowly but surely I'm losing hope

After so many times of being told I can't date,
It's really starting to fill me with hate.

They won't let me live my life,
And I know that I can't win this fight.

I'm not the girl they think they know,
And so many people have come and go.
