Friends of the century

by Eddie Hoyte   Mar 27, 2012

As the morning ticked on, the tension began to gradually dissipate..seemingly under the rising sun which was growing hotter every minute... That morning my world fell apart for the second time..my situation is worse cause i cannot be consoled.

And my future for the first time in my life is unknown.. With eyes downcast seriously studying the shape of my feet.. I allowed my mind to wonder back to months ago when i had woken up with a feeling that something was amidst... The day that i carried out that evil deeds...

I was shocked to realise that i was afraid.
Yes afraid..
I asked myself did i really want to return to that appropriate moment when my world crashed?
That moment i pulled the EBONY trigger..
That second i released that hot lead bullet..
Watching red crimson blood gush out his gullet..
I did the worst thing a friend could do to his nigger..
He deserved it i said, watching him sunk to the ground..
But it's unfair, a small faint voice said to me..
Kick his backstabing ass the other voice said..

With tears pouring down my eyes, i called for help...
Knowing i was in danger and he was in great danger...

Weeks later in one of those brooding moments..i gave a sharp knock no his door that rattled him out of his reverie..
You're suprised to see me i said..
Yea was all he could mumbled..
I'm here to apologise for my evil action..
It's okay!! Was all he could whisper..
I am stretching out a hand of reconcilation to u..
We were best of buddies and I don't see why a girl should destroy the love between us..
Let's rejuvenate our friendship and discard this feeling for the same girl..
To my suprise he reply in a choke voice.
'No i'm sorry for dating your girl'...
No it's me who has been nasty and reacted the wrong way..

Let's get back to before and leave this place together..
She's not worth dying for..we'll be friends forever..
In a choked voice he said ' say you'll follow me wherever i go Hoyte!! '

In sheer ecstasy i replied...' of course i will dummy!! '
