If I Were to Lose You

by James   Mar 29, 2012

"IF I WERE TO LOSE YOU"

If I were to lose you now it would not be as bad,

As it was years ago when my entire life turned sad.

If I were to lose you now I think I could be able to cope,

Because today I am not counting on any dreams of hope.

If I were to lose you now my life would stay the same
But in my heart loving you would forever remain.
If I were to lose you now I'd still keep you in each prayer,
Wanted you to be happy, loved and in God's care.
If I were to lose you now there is one truth I'd always know,
Falling so deeply in love with you was the right way to go!
If I were to lose you now memories would never fade away
Of the short time we spent stealing moments, night and day.
If I were to lose you now my life would continue as well as the love,
For a woman named Patricia I will always be grateful to God above.
