My loss of family
A member of me
A blood relative
Now took his leave

I am devastated
My heart aches
So sad, I realized
I didn't get to know him yet

He was like a stranger
A nice person who is my
He was such a good person
I loved him

I now have regrets
Regrets that I didn't
Get to know him better
Play with him more

He was family
Family that can never be replaced
A part of my history
That I will never,
In this life time, ever forget

All I hope now
Is that he is happy
I will believe
And wish it to be true

I will be strong
For our family
