there's many reasons why,
I can't help but cry,
ripped up inside.

of goodbye.
Scared of losing time
as you fall from sight.

My hearts broken like a kite,
stabbed with a knife.
Cut so deep in my soul
that my wings can't take flight.

An illusion I hold,
thinking you'll be alright
or do I fear death,
