Resurrection

by Ole Carsten   Apr 2, 2012

I'm one of the 348 deported
We survived barely
I don't deserve this honor
How to change my seat
With one of the 71.000 dead

Where to go from here
Back to home?
To the hangmen?
Where will they send me?
Trust is not possible.

No longer a human
Neither maybe nor a beast
If there is a God
Show me your face
In honor of the vanished

If not I know
I'm not longer here
Give me a place with no wires
Remove your dogs..

    Hi

You are right, the only country who made it even worse than the gruel German regime. mre than 100.000 deported and less than 400 lived through this man made hell.
I am not vendictive, but I wish all guards, deporters, politician, police and military force, to be condemt forever. No one can sit still and letting this pass again, anywhere around the world, niether in Europe, middeleast, asia, america or africa.

It took me a long time to find the place, Slovakia it must be, terrible story, but you poem must let people think and act.
    Time can't heal this.
