Austin;

Living in a house manufactured by our friends;
A bed furnished in feelings of the mislead.
A pillow made out of dead dreams
And a goose that never laid it's gold eggs;
Thoughts that lay dormant
Are now fuel inside my head.
Unhatched its beautiful;
If its hatched it's like bread.
Pick up the crumbs and feast on them
While the meat of it fled.
Attach led to a desk
In order to get ahead.
No need for a certificate
To resurrect a fallen head;
A comrade that can come rest
In a house made of old rags.
Quotes and compliments
From the past furnish new pallets
For us to take naps.
Just the right pick me ups we need
To get yourself back
Or to cover ourselves to sleep.
Sink into a dream
And wash off all our needs
In our friend's want
For each other to succeed.
With a roof so hard
A thousand winds couldn't break it down;
A foundation that matches
And fortifies a fabricated crown.
A shelter to the problems
And the racket that stays calm.
Ironically we need this clutter
To stay actively involved;
In social cycles
We find ourselves ring leader of;
Fit to the right one just like a glove
And mistake it for a forsaken lost love;
Just because we lose a glass slipper
Doesn't mean we need one.
Just because your house has a closet
Doesn't mean you need clothes.
Just because there is a library
Doesn't mean people know.
Just because you live by mirrors
Doesn't mean your image shows.
But you reflect off you friends in their moods;
In the products we consume,
In everything that we use.
Our interests like news reels
That reveal common interests
With news flashes that connect to a fallen past.
In your childhood room
Made by our friend's moods.
Staying arrogantly rude
Until adolescence is misconstrued;
A mindset we abuse
To act indifferent to who we use.
An unglued tilted house
Stilted by strings of doubt.
A hall full of whispers;
Secrets that string the mouth;
A hallway full of imagery
Is the only way to get it out.
No words can capture what pictures speak;
No words can capture just what I think.
So I caccoon into my friend's hope;
Burrow into their snow.
We use each for the same heat;
It beats being alone.
In the mirrors we see clones;
Heartless cold blowing drones
That do nothing but roam
The slopes of lost unknowns
On the corners of broken homes.
A stranger taken in
By my friends from the rain.
A place to take rest,
Not to be contained.
A vacation I've always wanted
Minus the having to enslave
Time to a work force.
Taking just want we need from that drive for us to contort.
The torque we need that drives our support
To dive into resorts that we don't deserve.
But the rich are so unappreciative to what I observe.
My friends furnished
A pool so I can cleanse forth my sins;
Baptize my worries with the turn of a grin.
A simpleton turned Annie
With my friend's fortune;
I hope I don't abuse it
When it comes to the end.
So I sleep now in a house
Thanks to all my good friends.
