In my life's desert, I have sown seeds of love
Yet my field remains barren
The wind has uncovered each of my furrows
Except the one we're sharin'
The rollin' tumble weeds still clutter my life
With sadness, distrust, worry and strife
I can't quench my thirst when there's no water to be found
The pounding of my heart my deserts only sound
Patiently, I wait for my desert to yield its harvest
