This piece reminded me of when I was doing work experience in a clothes store and had to dress the mannequins, and I thought how boring and pointless it was, but they are carved with delicacy and stand there for a reason, to draw customers in by the clothes. This was a different sort of poem, very original. |

Zahra that was pure creativity. At first I wasn't sure what you were talking about, then in the second read, I knew it was about mannequins. i like the beginning, where you said stillness kills curiosity (so true. The still body , in this case, it doesn't)= on contrary, the still body is intimidating to the human mind. i remember when i was a kid, at the front glass of clothes shops, I would stand puzzled, looking at those mannequins :P it was really weird. |
