When you are alone and wandering, I shall follow...

by Chino   Apr 6, 2012

Freckles that mimic the open night,
eyes deeper than the ocean's tides,
a moment's glimmer into your eyes,
can hold the World on it's Axis.

A smile that can capture the infinite sky,
In a single beat of my patient heart...

The reminiscent light of times long gone,
Childhood crushes and teenage loves,
Memories of every kiss, every tear,
Each want and desire - be it love or lust,
Race through the creaves of my mind.

My heart whimpers in your Glory,
Fragile hands holding onto the Story
Of times long past and wishes unfulfilled,
And I would trade it all if I could,
If I could trade it all I would,
Just to hear the sound of your voice

Once more...

Two thousand miles away my love,
I wish I could reach over every inch
To hold you in my still arms, my heart
Beats for you when you are near or ar,
No matter the place, wherever you are,

The distance is but distance -
The tides are but tides -

And here I lie down by myself
Wishing you were here to tell

Goodnight.
