I love the images here, there were some really great sensual flavours too, it flowed really well and was gentle and calm, I really loved reading this piece

such beauty in the wording, and I love the title, so simple but really eye-catching.

Ohhhh,. . I don't know what to say but I will just type it as I understood it even if it's not what it's meant...

I tasted rainbows under a mint green sky
on a humid afternoon in July,
sweet as candy, pure as a golden sun.

--- Andrea, this stanza reminded me of M&M's lol,
They are colorful and sweet chocolate flavor,
but I have the feeling that is more about a kiss
and it sets a wonderful image in my head.
and later on, I feel like there was more than a kiss to it.

Thunder mixed with a new birth heat,
extracting shivers and quivers,
tornado whispers rumbled.

--- So with this one, I'm thinking that like it says is about a new birth.
I feel that the tornado is use to represent the pain of giving labor.

"Watching a pastel ribbon,
granting natures approval,
a soft rain was born,"

---- and then I'm just imagining the baby being born and that with the soft rain is representing the baby crying.

and so you will never forget that time that it was your first time.
then later on, it turned out to be three.

I don't know if I understood it correctly, but still this piece rocks for many things but specially for the warm feeling that it creates in me while I am reading it.

Lovely images here hun, just so beautiful to read. There's a hint of sweetness here and it is a beautiful read.

There's a hint of a romantic feel to it as well which I loved!

Gosh, Andrea.. You left me hanging on a rainbow after reading this. It's like a mixture of tornadoes and rainbows. Quite contrasting in the beginning. And the style? My, oh My.. The subtle rhymes are super- awesome. It felt so quick-paced (and that's how I like poems), so colorful, and densely worded.

I adore the beginning: I tasted rainbows - that sure made me imagine tasting each color of the 7 alone.

As I said, the subtle rhymes between: soul - born - secure ... are just awesome.
