I agree pain isnt always bad if it self inflicted on ourselves, sometimes it can be a growing experience but when you deliberately inflict pain on someone else you can't be sure how it will effect them or if they will ever recover. I once knew a wonderful lady who had pain inflicted on her at an early age, it wasn't her fault but she was the one who felt the pain and guilt and I wouldnt be surprised if she didn't pass that pain onto others who were undeserving.
