Bittersweet

by Janna Antal   Apr 8, 2012

You are the sweet torturous dream that my heart desires...
the whispers of my heart to yours.....
is that of longing and needs yet to be fulfilled.

But they are only..... whispers in the wind.........
Bittersweet desires

Thinking of you fills my head...my body, my heart and soul
with fantasies of love, sweet surrender, heat, pounding hearts in unison as we pour ourselves into over and through each other.
both giving and receiving..fulfilling the desires of our souls.

But they are only..... whispers in the wind.........
Bittersweet Longings

To touch you..have you touch me..makes my skin burn for you.....
My hands tremble at the thought,my head light,my heart pounds....
As it swells with a deep sadness and my soul cries......
For a love I may never have.......

But they are only.....whispers in the wind.......
Bittersweet Love

Perfect title for this bittersweet love poem. The longing for this peson is penned so strong-taking over every part of your being. A love this strong is worth persuing I'd think. At any rate, you pulled me inside your poem and I was emotionally attached to it by the ending. Great piece!
