Heavenly Design

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 8, 2012

There was no site to separate light
Or day and night in the eyes of the unborn
There was no death before there was breath
No nose knows the scent of where it was meant
To sense the danger of its flesh being torn
Not a tongue can tell the taste of that hell
Of what the first man must have had to touch
Before he felt the love we value so much
As he looked to the heavens for a sign
He discovered what he knew from the start
The evidence for intelligent design
In the beats and rhythm of his heart
No eyes have seen nor ears have heard
A sound more beautiful than the word
