I found the title to be very interesting hun. To be honest I had no idea what a buzzard was so I googled it and found it to be quite majestic.

The poem itself was just that - majestic. The images were lovely and beautiful. It was very fitting for this animal who looks quite wise.

I know its so cliche' to leave a comment saying "the imagery was beautiful", but honestly, it was! Your details were so poetic, so pretty, and I think the perfect word was used when Liz said "majestic"

As I child I watched many times buzzards circling over a dead animal. I love the detail to this Maple you have nailed it perfectly...I do question this line:

soul of a passing dear,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Using dear this way puts a whole new meanng and spin on this piece!
