Blinding Reflections

by RayOfDarkness   Apr 11, 2012

I watch the glass glint
With the reflection of us.
You think I cannot see,
You think I'm blinded by you,
Like I once was.
Not anymore,
Will I be betrayed.
Not anymore will I be hurt
By your blinding reflections
And your false accusations.

In the mirror you look and see
The emotions flooding to my face,
So that you can see
How I truly feel.
So that you can see how every night
I cry a river of tears
All because of you.

You think you're great.
You think no one sees
Through your transparent act.
Well, try and listen
For once in your life
To break through your hardened shell,
And your blinding reflections.
Block the light,
Remove the temptations,
Try and catch a glimpse of what once was.

Pick up the pieces,
And solve the puzzle.
Meet me somewhere right in the middle
And forget about your pointless reprisal.
