Three Chances Too Many

by RayOfDarkness   Apr 11, 2012

Don't even look at me.
Who are you, to tell me who to be?
Why did you lock me in this box and throw it in the sea,
Only to toss away the key?

Did you ever care about me at all,
Or were you waiting for someone else to call?
You could have ended this pointless brawl,
Instead of leaving me in hell to crawl.

I don't want a second chance,
I wanted a straight answer without doing that dance.
I didn't want to be in a trance,
Or be brushed off at a second glance.

You should have never put me through the pain,
Only for your own selfish gain.
Right now there's one way, one lane,
To do this right and keep me sane.

So walk down it and leave me be,
But first get me out of the rushing sea.
You already had chances, to be exact three,
So turn around and get away from me.
