Time Spreading

by Robert Healy   Apr 12, 2012

The grass and the trees
A top soil and stone
Covered in a mist of time
A future seeps through
With the cry of a few
Here, create life a-new
Machines trundle in
And push back past
Digging holes for
Concrete and steel
In time buildings stand
Where grass and trees
Held the land
And feet mark their stamp
On this home
The walls with the doors
The roofs and the glass
Keep warm a Community at last
While the grass and the trees
Rebirth with the wind
And all live together
As time makes a pass.

I'm delighted you liked it. Maybe You'll like D'Lrowym...this is also the title of a pantomime I'm in the middle of writing. Thanks again. :-)
