I can not tell

Another day gone by.
I still go unnoticed and unknown to you.
I defend, care and feel for you.
But you have no knowledge of such feelings.
I wonder how much more I can bare.
Until my world finally falls apart.
I tell myself not to hope.
But still find I'm looking forward to that day.
When you finally see me and my love.
If that day ever comes.
Which I know it can not.
I must not allow such a thing to happen.
Even if I loose my heart in the processes.
Those of you who read this.
Might wonder why I can't tell him.
Of my powerful love for him.
But you see, if he ever found out.
That someone loved him truly.
He would take his life, thinking it unsafe.
For that person to feel that way toward him.
