Public restroom

Public restroom

Waiting uninvited, for my chance to prove
I don't know what to prove, just have to move
My body is aching, after hours of sleep
I am strong, but the bench is a rock, I don't peep.

Looking at strangers, running and moving around
Momy momy, a child shouts, look what I found.
Some candy left behind, somebody was in a rush
Give up child your mother will make a fuss

Now the train finally arrives at the platform
It is at last my turn to enter, even I am deform
Invisible for other than my kind, not wanted
Officially there are no conflicts, but we are hunted.

No education for us, just living in the gutter
Collecting left luggage, selling cheap for bread and butter
No one trust us, we can't afford new clothes
The educated can easily buy for both

I dream of a place for me to have a home
To be respected by others and travel to Rome
Want to be a normal person, not a outcast
Longing for a life, dreaming leaning on a ships mast.
