Sad poems touch the heart easily.. Maybe you cant overcome sadness, but you can forget it. |

Oh, andrea |
Ooh! this is so sad and heart touching. Been a while i didn't read and comment on your poems. I miss doing so. To me the subject is holding on to a home he or she use to reside in. Starting all over in a new home isn't favourable, with the thoughts of leaving a house full of haunting momories. Nevertheless, the subject wishes to fight this daunting feeling, and move on with a new life in a new home. My interpretation can be wrong but that's all i thought of. As usual of you, Aunt Andrea, this is an enticing poem, however a sad one but penned so beautifully, with unique metaphors and words. I love the descriptions, which is crystal clear. Another exquisite piece of yours. Bravo!! ;-).. |
As days to fear shorter, as my sunshine fades away, that is sadness well described. |

Excellent write, I like your choice of words. I appeciate words like pasture, sunshine, and many more that relates to everyday things yet describes pain. Excellent |
Andrea, I am took back by your opening stanza as it is just excellent. It really hooked me in and touched me. As for the rest of the poem it was smashing. It is a great write. Very deep and well worded. |
