Love...

by Cheyenne   Apr 18, 2012

Once upon a time,
Before loving you was a crime.
I cherished our friendship,
As if it wasnt an arrangement.
The long talks on the phone,
And the little walks home.
When you held me as if the whole world was in your arms,
then kissed me as if, nothing else mattered.
Our feelings were all scattered.
We laughed, we cried.
We pushed all the drama aside.
When we weren't scared of being judged,
and couldn't hold a grudge.
When we told each other, every little detail, of every little thing.
We'd sit there, and peacefully sing.
But, that's all changed.
And now its actually arranged.
It's just not the same,
It's driving me insane.
I see your lies, straight through your eyes,
It sends me blind.
But i begin to wander,
About the shiver down my spine,
That keeps me in line.
The butterflies in my tummy,
That makes me jumpy.
The crinkle in my nose,
Its love, i suppose.
And every time i see you, my heart skips a beat,
You sweep me straight off my feet.
Those dark brown eyes looking upon mine,
You're sweet, gentle lips kissing in time.
That soft brown hair, ever so rare,
And the way you care.
Its then, i realise,
This is reality.
The best part is,
That i always miss.
Is that, you are mine,
And within this rhyme.
I've outlined my feelings for you,
Those of i always knew.
They are deeper than any ocean,
Like a poisonous potion.
They go further than any star,
Leaving a deep scar.
Within my heart,
Like some sort of art.
And through all of life's obstacles,
We should think of this, as one of god's miracles.
For we are meant to be,
Forever, you see?
And one more thing, i love you,
Please say, you do too?!
