What Once Was

His friendship,
Is what I miss most.
The helping hand and
Smiling faces.
All the memories we shared
Not a day goes by
That you don't cross my mind.

From kleenex's to seatbelt's,
So many stories I could tell.
Laughs and cries ,
That came along with our friendship
You grew into my life
Like a tree grown from a seed.

It all came to an end,
When God had other plans for you.
Your up in heaven now,
