    Because,
    although she's unfair-
    just like me,
    she's a mother
    too..

^^ This was my absolute favorite part of this poem and I'm so made you left this challenge because I think you would have won! Its incredible!! This piece touches my heart like no other, Josh has a niece with down syndrome who melts me! And when I read this I teared up.

INCREDIBLE! You took the topic and came out with literally a masterpiece. I admire you for writing this!

This was in Chelsey's contest! And.. I voted for that!

God, I so loved this.. felt so affected.. you did awesome with that prompt. The minute I read that, I remembered a series I watched called: Beyond The Sun ... about the topic you've written.

    And it's just so inspirational.

Awesome, and congrats for the win.
    Totally deserved

Wow. This has to be one of the best poems I have read in a while due to its raw emotion. It was so real and stripped of any fronts that I felt as if I personally knew the person having these thoughts. I couldn't help but sympathize with this mother and offer her a hand but her fighter gives her all the love and life she needs. I loved how you described normality and that there is no fight in it. Going through hardships and having things not go your way is what makes you human. Such beauty in your words! Still cannot get over it. The ending...seriously had me close to tears. Just a wonderful way of ending this masterpiece. I honestly have no more words because you have left me speechless. Bravo!

    Yakari,

This piece touched me so much it was so beautiful. You mention the hardships hat any mother go through but the one that comes with raising a down syndrome child as it will be more of a struggle but that ending wow each child is loved no matter what.

    Take care, Em
