My Secret Life With You

by Melissa   Apr 21, 2012

I go to see you everyday
to see you in your house by the river
My parents don't know it, and that's okay
because they don't have to
Together we sit on the porch
watching the sunset
You're the kind of boy that my parents disaprove
with your grown out hair, piercings, and tattoos
But being here with you
watching the days fly by
I know that even though it isn't perfect
this love is yours and mine.

    Disaprove--disapprove
I found this simple and sweet. With a good imagery. I myself don't relate to the scene/message/story, but I'm sure others would.
"I know that even though it isn't perfect
this love is yours and mine."---the ending is written nicely and captured the whole story.
    Keep writing :)
