One of my fav poems now & my fav part:
It was hard for me to write,
When the pages were being stained red.
But I needed to write out my life,
Before I was dead.

I felt that if I didn't,
I would have been of no use.
Like there was no reason for me to be good,
I might as well have let the monster loose.

You have a lot of power in your words. The emotional content is superb and quite moving. Some pieces are difficult to write while others flow very easily. The same can be said for reading poetry. The journey through the page can be simple and light. Or it can be tumultuous and difficult to finish. Poetry is often raw and overpowering. My favorite poetry is the real kind. From the depths of the heart and soul.

Wow, this poem kept me reading from start to finish, and it takes alot to actually keep my attention like that. You held so much emotion in all of your words and it made it easy to feel every emotion that you were feeling. Your poem really hit hard for me because i seemed to understand exactly what you mean, the only difference is, i never wrote it in a journal or anything. But, this poem really affected me. You done a great job
