Before and after, same old story

by Yakari Gabriel   Apr 23, 2012

Before you,
the palms of my hands
were dusty like
cabinets, there,
empty.

but then you
held them, and
I thought the veins
in our forearms
had spoken to each other

I thought, they
started flowing
in the same direction, with
the same speed, at the same
time.

but things,
aren't always like
they seem.

nowadays,
I view my veins
like losers for love

and it was after you,
that I realized
that love had been honest

but I,
had been foolish

I love the the way you write your piece here...very emotional and powerful..i feel the sadness, the hope after the relationship came out into darkness because of something you didn't trust him... in your side, isn't right? It's very difficult to think that all was gone because of foolishness...i really really like this stuff...very great job!

    Oh Yaki,

This was like such a great piece, I felt the sadness, it started of with some sense of hope, and it just got sadder and the ending was perfection.

How love can be so perfect but we become so disfunctional and cannot see what is there.

    WOW
    Loved this
