Looking through shattered glass
At pieces of whom I used to be
When nothing around can ever surpass
The broken beauty that is me
Blood shed down upon hungry ground
Lust and grief torn mind from reality
Beheld oblivion but now I found
My long lost fragrance of mortality
Learned to evolve through the ages
As another decade had to come true
Promising the knowledge of sages
If they only knew
Of hunger and pain endured in time
Of years of sorrow with no aid
Fighting endlessly for my lost prime
Until all was gone without a shade
Once again inspecting my reflection
Staring at those scars of past regrets
Wish I could break my eternal connection
To those kind of things no one forgets
