In My Heart You Will Forever Remain

This Poem is for my daughter and my friend who i don't know if they are dead or not but i do love them that's for sure

Walking along this dark lonely road,
Remembering every memory that we once shared,
My tears begin to fall but they are overshadowed by the newly fallen rain
Of the times that my daughter and my friend.....had still been alive

How my daughter hadn't been born from me yet she was still mine nevertheless,
The many cuts upon her soul and how I'd itch to try and heal them if only she'd let me,
Hug her, and tell her, "Mommy is going to make it all better"
Ease her of the unbearable misery that had been laying there since forever

My flirt of a friend,
Always there when i was in need of him for comfort
Haunted by his past, yet always having that joker mask on
A true friend beyond time and the very space

I will forever miss them
My daughter and my friend will forever be in my heart,
In my memories and in my poetry they will linger there for eternity
Look closely and you will see my own pain masked behind their very legacy
