The day seems so dark and dim
It feels like midnight again
The sun is shinning outside
But in me feels like rain

It's been days since I've slept
And years since I've tried
A couple little yellow pills
Still can't close my eyes

My mind won't stop racing
My thoughts all twist and turn
I wish I could fall asleep
Never to return

I take another little pill
My eyes finally getting heavy
Still won't close all the way
One more pill I have plenty

The darkness starts to close in
My problems about to cease
I don't need to share my pain
Or spread this decease

So when I go to sleep today
It's in hope to never wake
I don't wanna be here anymore
I've hade all I can take
