Where do i start,
I don't understand life,
I know its always been the good get mistreated,
The bad get a pat on the back,
The weak and the sick are always in the shadows,
The healthy are always dancing in the sun,
Why does everyone just turn their heads,
Pretend there isn't a way out,
Walk straight past,
Eyes pretending,
Ears closed,
I understand everyone has there own hurdles,
Their own problems to deal with,
Hell i have many of my own,
But I'm still smiling,
Still dropping everything for others,
I don't understand why everyone isn't like that,
I thought that was nature,
Mum still just says I'm a good person,
That I'm strong,
That I'd probably take a bullet for a stranger,
So someone tell me why everyone is so closed up,
So concerned with their life,
How is it hard to see if your neighbor is doing ok,
Why is selfishness a common trait?
