In this poem you seems hurt by your friends specifically close friends...every individual has its own personality...nobody's perfect...but, when it comes to friendship...a friend should know the differences/imperfection of one another..it is not count the character, the personality or appearance... the most worthy is you are willing to accept your friend whoever she is...

will tell you things you rather not hear,
a true friend will advise you not to make
any foolish decisions, a true friend will not tell on you or betray your trust.
