Hatred

by Alanis   May 5, 2012

The hate I feel is real. It burns me deep inside.
She asked me what's wrong? "Nothing" I lied
She stole my passion, my one true meaning
The hate I felt was slowly seething. Can't she
Think for herself? Doesn't she have a mind of her
Own? I turn up my music blocking out her
Annoyed tone. I didn't know what to do.
Our friendship is through. We were
Just going through the motions, it's not
As if she actually cared. Let's just face it the
Friendship we once felt is teared. There is
Nothing left to say so I just got up and walked away.
She ran after me begging me to stay. I said spearing
no emotion "Not for another day"

Hate is a strong word. Granted, there is
a thin line between love and hate.
Our feelings have been hurt, we are lashing out using the "Hate" word, just making ourselves more miserable.
