Still Learning

by Chantal   May 10, 2012

When i was younger i was so naive, now as i get older i'm not sure what i believe.

when i was little i could always count on the promises made to me,
now as we get older that same truth doesn't seem to be.

surprises were small things that made you smile,
they've now turned into things that don't make your choices worth while.

we're so busy searching for the answers to life's mysteries,
that we forget to sit back, relax and let things be.

we fear the unknown, the things we can't understand.
it prevents us from moving on with a life now unplanned.

i've learned something out of every experience,
my biggest lesson has been that of acceptance.

    Who are you?

    Your writings are spectacular!
Or maybe I just really like,
because I can relate so well.
    :) Keep it up!
