Third world nonsense

by The Po whet   May 10, 2012

You say I live in a third world,
then how comes you haven't migrated
to Mars or the vast lands of Jupiter?
You say I should embrace your civility,
but are you ready to embrace my traditions?
You mine my gold and diamonds,
You syphon my oil
all but to develop your developed nation
whilst my people wallop in violence and
poverty.
You've made me your begger,
my leaders you've brainwashed with
your greed and corruption.
if it's true I'm third world,
then who lives in the second and first world's ?
and why do you always run to embrace
my bony shoulders,
when my country strikes wealth?
shouldn't we be the ones scurrying to
your Canaan ?
I really need to understand our difference,
or is it that you breath in
Super Oxygen
whilst I breath in
simple oxygen?
or now you'll say I'm thinking like a typical
third world boorish?

I feel your anger in this, for so long, we have been extorted and nothing happens only that the rich keep getting rich while we continue to suffer.
