I SO loved this one by you, Mat! So brief yet perfect! a very very meaningful piece of art, that made me fall in love with words again <3 jeeze I am inspired this morning more than enough! and now your poem....I guess I'm going to write an essay here -.-

You mastered the feelings and the flow was so smooth like a....well I don't know but I truly felt it perfect as no damn break distracted me not anything! rich and powerful!

Like bees to their
queen we flock to her--
her irresistible charms
and her duende comforting

I LOVE
the use of 'flock' here
and bees are the best metaphor, well-done!
but I guess you only needed one dash
after 'her' right? and although
irresistable is a cliche word
I loved the insertion of it!
so much passion....so much meaning.

I Love the repetitions.....like bees like bishops..
however wasn't a fan of repeating 'her'
egh it just looked..her beauty
her lips her nose....you know
I just thought it's too much
but oh
who knows???
maybe it was intentional!
then applauds for that!
I LOVE it when people describe our laughter
